Syllabus:

Advancement of technical aspects as they relate to the practice of product design. Tuition is studio-orientated using project-based design problems. Emphasis is placed on advancing technical knowledge. Provides an awareness of the technological processesand characteristics of a range of materials required for product design and the concept of design for manufacturability. This unit is undertaken over a six week period.
