Syllabus:

Introduction to object-relational database systems, Structured Query Language (SQL) extensions for object-relational Data Definition Language (DDL) and Data Manipulation Language (DML). Modeling and design of an Object Oriented Data Base (ORDB). Physical database design and tuning. Query optimisation. Data mining and On-Line Analytical Processing (OLAP).
