Designed for graduates working or seeking to work in a field that requires specialised knowledge in accounting. This course enhances knowledge and skills in accounting and related aspects of financial management and business law, in order to equip students for a career in professional accounting and related fields in Australia and internationally.
A bachelor degree, excluding accounting majors, from a recognised tertiary institution or an equivalent academic qualification and experience.
Applications for recognition of prior learning are assessed on an individual basis.
The course is between four semesters (at 75 credits per semester) full-time or equivalent part-time study. International onshore students on student visa's are not permitted to study on a part-time basis.
The course is designed to meet the educational requirements for membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and CPA Australia.
Students may be expected to purchase a number of textbooks, readers and other essential study materials.
