A preparation course equivalent to Year 12 for entry into higher level studies at degree level in commerce that provides an introduction to a wide range of curriculum areas. Completion of the course will entitle students to progress to a Diploma of Commerce, a course accredited by Curtin University of Technology with academic standards equivalent to those in year one of the Bachelor of Commerce. This course will be offered for a pilot period of three years.
The course is two trimesters full-time or equivalent part-time study.
Students may be expected to purchase a number of textbooks, readers and other essential study materials.
