Offers a program at graduate level in the theory and practice of management. On successful completion of the program, students may be eligible to enrol for the Master of Commerce (Management) course.
A bachelor degree in a field other than business, economics or commerce, or an equivalent qualification from a recognised tertiary institution, or a graduate certificate (in an appropriate discipline), or significant professional experience.
Applications for recognition of prior learning are not considered within this course.
This fee paying course is one year full-time or equivalent part-time study. Some units are available in the evening.
Depending upon the major area of study chosen, graduates are eligible for membership to the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Management.
Graduates generally find employment positions that have an interest in or focus on management activities in the middle managerial level.
Students may be expected to purchase a number of textbooks, readers and other essential study materials.
