Introduction

Tourism is one of the fastest growing sectors of the economy and the workplace in Australia and its region. This minor provides a thematic and interdisciplinary perspective on the factors underlying the development of this industry and its impact upon host communities and the environment, with particular reference to cultural tourism and ecotourism.
