This course provides those currently working in public health related fields with introductory coursework in epidemiology and biostatistics. Graduates develop an understanding of the various components of epidemiology and biostatistics with the course designed to accommodate students from varying backgrounds.
A bachelor degree in an appropriate field or an equivalent qualification from a recognised tertiary education institution.

Applications for recognition of prior learning are assessed on an individual basis.
This fee-paying course is one semester full-time or equivalent part-time study in both internal and external study modes.
Students may be expected to purchase a number of textbooks, readers and other essential study materials.
