Syllabus:

 Australian Public Policy. Central issues of economic and social policy from an historical and comparative perspective. Role of ideologies, political parties and interest groups in determining the relationship between state and society in Australia - managing the economy, promoting industrial competitiveness and addressing problems of social welfare and the environment.
