Syllabus: |
Radiography component - applications of tomography, radiographic procedures for the theatre and mobile radiography, contrast agents, contrast procedures of the genito-urinary, biliary and alimentary systems. Radiography of the cranium, face, sinuses, mandible, salivary glands and lacrimal system. Special radiographic techniques such hysterosalpinograpahy, mammography, and computed tomography (CT) pelvimetry. Ultrasound component - integration and application of medical imaging science and instrumentation with reference to ultrasound imaging. Introduction to ultrasound scanning and an overview of all procedures. Techniques for upper and lower abdominal structures and obstetrical examination. |
