Syllabus: |
Introduction to psychological processes and the research methods used to investigate them. Study three topics: learning, memory and motivation. Introduction to descriptive and basic inferential statistics within the context of experimental, differential and relational design and analysis. Statistical procedures discussed include measures of central tendency and variability, estimators, the t-test, ANOVA, correlation and the chi-square test. Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS). |
