Syllabus:	Classification of instructional illustrations according to graphic characteristics, presentation format and instructional function. Visual processing and learning. Developing illustration-rich resources, including the design of original instructional visuals. Student generated illustrations. Contextually-based evaluation of the instructional effectiveness of illustrations. Approaches for the effective integration of illustrations with other information formats.
