Designed to develop global managerial competencies for business and commerce in the Asia-Pacific region. The course features guided independent study, team projects and maximum use of information and communications technology. A unique feature of the course is its action learning format and emphasis on international business competencies.
A bachelor degree in a business, commerce discipline preferably with relevant work experience in an international managerial role.
Applications for recognition of prior learning are assessed on an individual basis.
This fee-paying course is two semesters full-time or equivalent part-time study. Some units are available in the evening.
Depending upon the major area of study chosen, graduates are eligible for membership of the Australian Australia and New Zealand Academy of Management.
Graduates generally find employment positions with companies that have an interest in or focus on international activities in the intermediary managerial level.
Students may be expected to purchase a number of textbooks, readers and other essential study materials.
