Introduction
This course offers students a foundation in leadership studies and business management. Students wishing to specialise in either leadership management or procurement may opt, instead, to undertake a specialised stream. The Graduate Certificate in Business is an ideal course for those wishing to tailor their own study program. It is also an important entry point for those wishing to pursue either a Master of Leadership Management or Master of Business Administration.
Course Entry Requirements/Prerequisites
A bachelor degree and a minimum of one years work experience. Applications may be considered from those who do not have a bachelor degree provided they have significant work experience at a recognisable level of responsibility.
Duration and Availability
The Graduate Certificate in Business is a four unit (100 credit point) study program. It is offered on a trimester (and semester) basis and may be completed in four months full-time (or equivalent part-time). The Graduate Certificate in Business may be completed fully online. Course Organisation
The Graduate Certificate in Business (equivalent to a Graduate Business Qualification) is awarded on satisfactory completion of one compulsory unit (Organisational Behaviour 550) and three optional units which are listed within a choice of three streams:the Business Administration Stream, Procurement Specialisation Stream and the Leadership Management Stream. Students select one stream.
