Experimental techniques and analytical skills - nuclear, x-ray, mass spectrometry, geophysics, electron microscopy, satellite meteorology/oceanography, for example, electron microscopy, theory, electron probe microanalyser, applications, recent advances. Mass spectrometry. Instrumentation - ion sources, magnetic analysers, detection systems. Data handling. Accuracy, systems calibration. Applications - geophysics, nuclear physics, chemistry, environmental science, archaeometry. Practical experience. |
