	| Syllabus: | GPS mathematical models. Differential and wide area GPS - principles and algorithms. Atmospheric modelling, including Klobuchar ionospheric model, GPS broadcast ephemeris computation. GPS error sources - multipath, interference and jamming, atmosphere. GPS  broadcast ephemeris computation. Static, fast-static and kinematic solutions. Introduction to Kalman filtering. Quality control in the hydrographic industry. This unit will include a three-day hydrographic field exercise. |
