Examination of the origins and history of environmentalism, the environmental movement and the role of geographers in environmental planning/management. Environmental perception and natural resource management issues are examined with examples drawn fromagriculture, pastoralism, fisheries, mining, tourism and recreation, urban development and transport. Biodiversity and bioregional planning. |
