Syllabus: |
The opportunity to engage with current issues and debates that are topical to discussions of design both within an academic context and within more general discussions in the media. Examination of the issues that surround your own practice and debates those issues with others in a series of structured seminars. Practice and improve presentation skills through presentations at seminars and throughout the initiation of discussion topics. This work will provide contextual background material for the development of the proposal for the design project work that is initiated in the design project development unit. Debates about the relevance of design research to practice as they take place within the international professional design community. |
