Syllabus: Seismic - elastic properties of rocks, reflection and refraction methods for obtaining formation depths. Electromagnetic - induction laws, instrumental systems to measure phase, amplitude and direction interpretation of anomalies. Radioactivity - measuring techniques and their applications to assaying and radioactive dating. Field trips and demonstrations in nearby locations.
