Syllabus: |
Systems - data information, information system and information flow, different categories of IS, including MIS, DSS, ESS, OAS, EIS and computer-based IS, distributed IS and data communications. Systems analysis - methods of analysis, phase of analysis and design. Systems design and development - design techniques, focused on systems life-cycle (six - phase model) and prototyping, representations of IS (logical flow diagrams, structure charts, data dictionaries), topdown v. bottom-up development, project management and team planning, documentation, end-user evaluation models, systems maintenance. |
