Syllabus: Understand basic statistical methods and their application in environmental exposure assessment including Chi-square test, correlation, t-tests and analysis of variance (ANOVA). Basic principles and concepts of descriptive and analytical epidemiology. Epidemiological studies including ecological, time-series and panel studies - selected examples. Case studies. Collecting and evaluating of environmental health information. Limitations and errors in human exposure assessment. Surveillance and epidemiology of communicable disease.
