Designed for students with TEE Physics or those who have taken Engineering Physics 100 at Curtin. Newton's Laws - forces, equilibrium, moments and resultants, couples and distributed forces - free bodies and free-body diagrams, trusses - analysis of beams - stress and strain, thermal effects, failure - compatibility, superposition - displacement, velocity and acceleration, linear and rotational motion. plane kinematics and kinetics, momentum - work, power, PE. and KE. - hydrostatics, fluid flow, pressure, flow rate, momentum flux, fluid forces, Bernoulli equation. |
