Practical application of theory is emphasised and opportunity is given for the application of theory to educational practice. Course Entry Requirements/PrerequisitesA bachelors degree, or equivalent qualification, from a recognised institution. Students in this course must provide evidence of teaching, training or staff development responsibilities in which the practical requirements of the course can be satisfied. Duration and AvailabilityThis fee paying course is of two semesters full-time or equivalent part-time study. Students normally complete this course on a four semester part-time basis. The units will be offered through a variety of flexible and open learning modes. Intermediate AwardsA student who has successfully completed all the requirements of the 'Graduate Certificate in Tertiary Teaching' or the 'Graduate Certificate in Training and Development' may apply under exceptional circumstance provisions for graduation in that award subject to approval of the Head of School/Department.
