300230 v.2 Operations Research Minor
Introduction
Operations research techniques can be used in many problems arising in science, industry and commerce. Typically the use of search techniques to identify optimal strategies for dealing with complex problems becomes very important, especially when a large number of variables are involved. This minor is designed for students in a non-Mathematics major and requires Mathematics 101 and Mathematics 102 or equivalent as pre-requisites.
