A selection of industry based briefs are provided or student can choose to write their own. If deciding to be entrepreneurs - a written proposal and production documentation must be provided for approval. One of the strengths of illustration is that it presents the possibility of interpreting abstract thoughts or ideas through the use of images. Conceptual illustration provides the opportunity to create new and innovative styles. Individuality and visual expression is encouraged in design by using illustration techniques to capture the essence of concepts generated for items such as posters, brochures, magazines, comics and business texts. A range of techniques are developed including traditional and rendered, contemporary digitally generated and or a combination of both methods. |
