| Per unit quantities, long transmission lines - A, B, C, D parameters and distributed modelling and performance calculations, series and shunt compensations. FACTS devices. Load flow calculations - Gauss-Seidel, Newton-Raphson and decoupled load flow. Contingency calculations, symmetrical and unsymmetrical faults - three phase, L-L, L-G, L-L-G faults and circuit breaker ratings. R-L-C circuit transients, recovery voltage transients in circuit breakers and ferro-resonances, dc load flow, load forecasting, generation and transmission system planning. |
