Focus on new venture creation and growth with particular emphaisis on technology-based firms plus new product development processes. Attention is also given to the role of the entrepreneur in the growth cycle, financing of new ventures, controlling resources and builidng sustainable growth. Intrapreneuring via innovation in the larger firm or government agency is examined along with the role technologies, in particular information and communications technologies, play in facilitation of new innovative enterprise outcomes. The concept of the 'technopreneur' is considered along with the nexus between research and development, entrepreneurship and the management of fast growth technology-based firms. |
