Disease - cause and classification, cellular reactions to injury, inflammation, healing and repair, defense mechanisms and growth disturbances. Circulatory disorders including thrombosis. Genes and chromosomes in medicine. Specimen collection, storage, transportation - various serological, haematological, histological and microbiological tests used to diagnose diseases of the lower limbs.
