Introduction to cytogenetics - the study of chromosome structure and variation. Chromosome mutations and aberrations, changes in chromosome number, cytogenetic syndromes and diseases. Methods of chromosome analysis, staining and banding. Chromosome sorting and microdissection. Molecular techniques, chromosome painting, FISH examples and case studies
