The application of project research to organisational decision-making is closely examined in this unit. Participants gain the relevant knowledge and skills to establish a comprehensive action plan for conducting project research of a practical nature. Critical success factors in designing and evaluating the action steps for a project are highlighted, such as information resources and staff expertise and competencies. Research design and development from the conceptual stage is scrutinised and participants guided through the latest methods of efficient electronic data gathering and analysis (both of a qualitative and quantitative nature), literature searches and methodology in writing project proposals and plans. |
