Area: Science and Mathematics Education Centre Contact Hours: 3.0 Credits: 25.0 Lecture: 1 x 3 Hours Weekly
A focus on the role of leadership and professional development in developing the teacher as learner. Topics include - the nature of teachers' work, construction of teachers' knowledge, forms of teacher inquiry and reflection, and social organisational conditions of schools which support teacher learning. Participants conduct action research.
