Directed study and research. Physical geodesy - potential theory, earth, reference and anomalous gravity field, measurement of gravity. Figure of the earth, boundary value problems, geometrical and gravimetric geoid determination. Dynamic satellite geodesy, satellite altimetry. Reference frames and coordinate transformations, height systems. Earth rotation, solid earth tides.
