Introduction
This course will be of interest to graduates in professions in Australia or the Asia-Pacific region which involves contact with people of diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
Course Entry Requirements/Prerequisites
In addition to the University's standard entry requirements, applicants are required to have a bachelors degree or equivalent.
Recognition of Prior Learning
Applications for recognition of prior learning are assessed on an individual basis.
Duration and Availability
The fee paying course is of two semesters full-time duration or equivalent part-time.
Course Organisation
Students complete eight optional units in Intercultural Communication. Students may substitute Language Project 500 for two units, or may substitute up to two language units.
Additional Course Expenses
Students may be expected to purchase a number of textbooks, readers and other vital study materials. In addition, students may also need to contribute some of the cost of consumables, which varies depending on the area of study.
