Introduction
Advanced study in a new or expanded field of design related to individual specialist work. It focuses on practical design work that is work-place oriented and is particularly suited to ease the study approach to student learning and working situations.
Course Entry Requirements/Prerequisites
A bachelor's degree in design related field, or a three year diploma together with significant experience in a professional capacity. Applicants with significant practical experience, normally a minimum of three years following a three year diploma are considered for admission.
Recognition of Prior Learning
Applications for recognition of prior learning are assessed on an individual basis.
Duration and Availability
This fee paying course is of one semester full-time duration or equivalent part-time. Study modes are flexible with opportunities provided to complete this course on or off campus through electronic communications and/or intensive short courses.
Additional Course Expenses
Students may be expected to purchase a number of textbooks, readers and other vital study materials. In addition, students may also need to contribute some of the cost of consumables, which varies depending on the area of study.
