Designed for a small number of students to extend studio practice and associated theoretical studies by way of independent research.
Course Entry Requirements/Prerequisites
Refer to Admission into Honours Degree Programs and Regulations for Honours Degrees (General Information section). Only students with outstanding performance in undergraduate studio practice will be considered for entry to the honours program. Students intending to apply for entry must have achieved a minimum course weighted average of 65 per cent. Candidates should inform course coordinators of their intention to apply for entry to the honours program by the end of fifth semester.
Recognition of Prior Learning
Applications for recognition of prior learning are assessed on an individual basis.
Duration and Availability
The honours program is one year full-time or equivalent part-time study.
Additional Course Expenses
Students may be expected to purchase a number of textbooks, readers and other vital study materials. In addition, students may also need to contribute some of the cost of consumables, which varies depending on the area of study.
