| Syllabus: | This unit will ask the emerging nutritionist to explore effective nutrition communication methods within the current media landscape. Student nutritionists will consolidate and extend their discipline knowledge and sociocultural awareness in order to develop of a range of initiatives aligned to established public health nutrition approaches. Applied food literacy skills will be a focus point for the translation of nutrition science into diverse and complex food and nutrition environments. This unit will put theory into practice, and explore unit themes within a framework of professional identity, leadership and scope of practice. |
