| Syllabus: | In this unit, students will develop the skills to enhance the occupational performance and participation of children and adolescents with developmental delay and disability using occupation-based and family-centred practice. Students will utilise their clinical reasoning skills to implement assessments and develop intervention plans within the frameworks of the International Classification of Functioning (ICF) and the Person Environment Occupation (PEO) model. This unit teaches units skills in professional documentation and report writing, communication skills, assessment and intervention. |
