| Syllabus: | This unit will address community child and adolescent health within populations. It will explore theoretical development of child and adolescent health with particular focus on physical and psychosocial growth and development. Use of contemporary health appraisal theory and surveillance with best practice policies will be identified, along with health screening tools and applications for identification of developmental progress. Evidence based health care delivery models, care planning, clinical decision making and inter-sectoral collaborations will be analysed. A partnership framework for community development and capacity building will be developed. |
