| Syllabus: | This unit provides an opportunity for students to study a topic of educational significance that is not covered in the existing available education units, or to examine a specific topic from the course at greater depth. Projects could also be based on an experience that the student is undertaking such as volunteering abroad or in the community. A negotiated program of study is established either for an individual student or a group of students. Students will review relevant literature and resources related to the topic to produce a negotiated outcome such as a written report or presentation. This final product will include students’ reflection on their learning and implications for educational practice. |
