| Syllabus: | This unit introduces students to Catholic schools in 21st Century Australia, the richness of their traditions, their particular understanding of education and the features that make this group of schools 'distinctive'. The unit explores what makes a good school, what is distinctive about Catholic schools and what contributes to the strong sense of community that is experienced by those involved in Catholic schools. The importance of 'culture' as a way of both exploring and enriching the life of these schools is emphasised. |
