Prerequisite(s):	7230 (v.5) Chemistry 117 or any previous version AND 7231 (v.5) Chemistry 118 or any previous version
Syllabus:	Introduction to the chemistry of s, p and d-block elements.This is a conversion course to enable students who have passed Chemistry 117 and 118 to take units having Chemistry 101 and 102 as prerequisites. Atomic theory: s, p, d orbitals. Molecular orbital theory, hybridisation and coordination compounds.
