Syllabus: | This unit will investigate the development of the cognitive (incorporating language development), social, psychological, emotional, physical and motor, moral and gender domains in the early childhood context. Examination of the effect of the environment on early development will also constitute a specific focus. Development will be presented as a continuum along which a range of changes are expected in correspondence with the age group. Asynchronous development will also be addressed and the relationship between development and learning stages will be highlighted. Additional Tuition Pattern: Three hour workshop per week |
