Prerequisite(s): 303282 (v.3) CAS - Indigenous Counselling Skills 217 or any previous version
Syllabus: Counselling: in the home for individuals and families. Group therapy: knowledge of, and health worker role in, group therapy. Continuity of care: special groups; skills to observe, monitor and assist with rehabilitation in the home. Health reorganisation: knowledge and skills to help special groups and families reorganise their life and living, along with other health or welfare personnel and agencies. Advisory role, purpose and limitations. Indigenous healing arts: knowledge of the use of song, dance, poetry and painting, for example, to assist with the healing process of special groups.
