Syllabus: | Provides the appropriate theoretical framework and develops appropriate research skills to enable students to locate their practice as an artist within the larger context of cultural theory. Also includes further case studies of artists' research methodologies through visits to studios and exhibitions. Examines significant aspects of professional practice as they apply to the visual artist. The final weeks of the semester are devoted to student seminar presentations of individual project documentation. |
