Syllabus: Standards and specifications for control surveys. Vertical control. Engineering, precise levelling, trigonometric levelling and GPS. Errors and precision of angular measurements. Bubble calibration. Target design. Standard error predictions for survey techniques and survey specifications. Precision alignment, deformation surveys and slope monitoring. Optical tooling. Adjustments of 2D and 3D survey networks - accuracy planning. Check surveys. Control networks for terrestrial and aerial photogrammetry.
