Prerequisite(s): 11985 (v.3) Medical Imaging Instrumentation 213 or any previous version
Syllabus: Instrumentation component-radiography - specialised imaging equipment design. Computed Tomography (CT) - image production, data collection, data manipulation, data display, conventional and spiral CT units. Magnetic resonance imaging - magnets, gradient magnets, radio frequency systems, encoding, data collection and image formation, parameters and trade-offs. Computer applications in computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, ultrasound and computed radiography.
