This advanced stream extends the range of options available for radiographers. It provides an opportunity for radiographers to be awarded senior positions in radiology and radiation therapy departments, as they are able to demonstrate proven academic andpractical ability. The stream is designed to permit reasonable flexibility to make it adaptable to the individual's needs, but at the same time provide advanced knowledge in the basic disciplines of anatomy, physics and radiologic techniques.
