234814 v.4 International Business and Business Information Systems Double Major

Introduction

This double major is designed for those seeking a career in international business, or one of its specialisations, and who recognise the growing importance to international trade, the computing and communications-based technologies that make up the so-called 'information superhighway'. As business becomes more global and the nature of organisations change to capitalise on international opportunities, international commerce and trade are becoming increasingly reliant on electronic commerce technology which will, in turn, create a demand for graduates who understand and have skills in both international business and electronic commerce.
