Designed for students who wish to make a career in the human resource management/industrial relations field who have successfully completed all requirements of the Graduate Certificate in Human Resources with a course weighted average (CWA) of at least 70 per cent.
A bachelor degree in a field other than business, economics or commerce, or an equivalent qualification from a recognised tertiary institution, or a graduate certificate (in an appropriate discipline), or significant professional experience.
Applications for recognition of prior learning are not considered within this course.
This fee paying course is two semesters full-time or equivalent part-time study. Some units are available in the evening.
A student who has completed the requirements of an approved intermediate award may apply for graduation in that award subject to approval from the Head of School/Department. Fees apply. Intermediate award(s) approved for this course are:
Graduate Certificate in Human Resources.
Depending upon the major area of study chosen, graduates are eligible for membership to the Australian Human Resource Institute.
Graduates generally find employment positions that have an interest in or focus on human resource management activities in the middle managerial level.
Students may be expected to purchase a number of textbooks, readers and other essential study materials.
