Introduction

This course has been developed to provide an alternative model of postgraduate education for qualified physiotherapists who wish to improve skills in manipulative physiotherapy and theoretical knowledge of the musculoskeletal system, but have no interest in the research component which is a central element of the existing higher degree program. This fee paying course is offered over two semesters part-time in a mixed internal or external mode. Prospective students are advised that the clinical unit in the program requires full participation in laboratory classes where manual skills and topics such as surface anatomy are presented.
