Introduction

This major engages students in the practice of aquatic resource and fisheries management and agribusiness. Graduates of the program are equipped to pursue careers in government agencies responsible for fisheries management, environmental management, in private companies whose operations involve utilisation of freshwater and marine resources and in seafood commerce and marketing. This major is aimed at providing agribusiness and technical training for the sustainable use of wild fisheries.
